Marisa's history includes serving as the director of admissions for a nationally renowned residential facility for children and adolescents with histories of severe trauma and mood disorders. She has also provided direct therapy services for adult substance abuse facilities, community non-profit agencies for children, and for homeless adults and their families transitioning back into the general community. Marisa is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma work but also utilizes a well-rounded approach including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Attachment Theory.

I was told I had to reschedule with another doctor because the online appointment is made was no longer available.... why would it let me book an appointment if it was unavailable? So much miscommunication with this Dr. Office that I will not recommend to anyone and I will not go back or be seen by them EVER!!
