I have had a life-long commitment to assisting people through difficult life transitions.
My counseling style has been described as genuine, reality-based, and collaborative. With 30 plus years of clinical work, I have developed a deep sense of compassion and a fairly good sense of humor. Many years were spent focused on trauma related to divorce, substance use disorder, and finding ways to step out of the negative patterns that can develop.
In the past several years, I have had a keen interest in working with people to find meaning and purpose in life during the pandemic, identifying purpose and managing the changes experienced in the aging process. I have had the honor of standing with people during great loss and significant change.
