Matthew “Jake” Grundstein received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at The State University of New York at Buffalo. His clinical experience includes outpatient orthopedics, acute care, and inpatient hospital care, currently specializing in orthopedic post-surgical physical therapy.
His clinical interests include manual therapy, sports medicine, and functional exercise.Jake is certified in Upper and Lower Extremity Neuromuscular Taping techniques. As a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Jake stays current with new research. He is committed to provide best practices and the most up-to-date care.
Jake’s interest in physical therapy was cultivated in high school, competing in cross country and track and field, achieving county championship in pole vaulting. He has since developed interests in competing in marathons and triathlons. He has completed the Syracuse
Half Ironman in June 2014 and the New York City Half Marathon in March 2014. Jake is currently training for the Philadelphia Half Marathon and Ironman Eagleman 70.3 in Cambridge, Maryland. When not working or training for triathlons, Jake can be found on the golf course or bicycling. Jake is available in the evenings. !
