I offer a compassionate, supportive and direct approach to meet my client's needs. Clients often arrive trying to understand why they are making self-destructive decisions, followed by actions (or inaction) which decrease their quality of life. We gently, non-judgmentally, explore the underlying, ancient beliefs they have about themselves (who am I?) which then fuel their thoughts and behaviors. We work together to rediscover the authentic self that was somehow left behind.
I specialize in treating addiction, anxiety, depression and trauma. I am trained in dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and psychodynamic therapy. Trauma treatment using prolonged exposure therapy and EMDR. Overall, my clinical approach to the work of therapy is integrative.
