As a therapist, I believe in a holistic approach to treatment that not only focuses on the psychological, but also on the physical, socio-economic, religious, and spiritual factors in one's life. When serving my clients, I work from a psychodynamic perspective, adjusting their treatment to best address their individual needs. Some of the modalities I often employ include traditional talk therapy, cognitive-behavioral and trauma-informed interventions, mindfulness, creative arts therapy, and play therapy.
I have experience working with pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds. My therapeutic style is client-centered, strengths-oriented, and empowering. Each person is the expert of their own lived experiences; therefore, I see myself as an agent of unveiling each client's full potential.
It is my passion to see my clients grow and heal through the therapeutic relationship, and I endeavor to help them come to a place where they can truly live their lives with independence and fulfillment.
