Together, we will decide on a co-pay that works for both of us.** I am a Licensed Psychologist in New York and New Jersey specializing in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. I earned my PhD in Clinical and School Psychology from Adelphi University and completed my internship at Saint Vincent Hospital. I hold a Certificate in Adult Psychoanalysis from the New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute (NYPSI), where I am also on the faculty. I serve as Co-Director of the NYPSI Fellowship program and teach and supervise psychiatric residents and psychology graduate students in the theory and technique of psychodynamic therapy and psychoanalysis. I am available to supervise trainees. I see patients in my private practice on the Upper East Side in New York, NY. The office environment is warm and private, conducive to developing a sense of safety in which to explore personal matters. I am trained in diverse therapies and theoretical schools, including Cognitive Behavioral and Psychodynamic. Within the Psychodynamic method, I am experienced in Ego Psychological as well as Relational and Interpersonal approaches. I tailor my approach to the individual needs and goals of the patient. Psychoanalysis is an intensive type of therapy that aims to promote deep character change. This can include finding more meaning in life, improving relationships with others, getting more pleasure from love and sex, overcoming work or school difficulties, and overcoming self-defeating behaviors.
