After starting her physical therapy career in the Vail Valley, Nichole Swanson, DPT, moved to Arizona where she opened her own clinic. She then sold that business and moved back to Colorado so she could raise her son in an area known for all its amazing mountain outdoor activities. She is also now a little closer to her family in western Kansas where she grew up on a wheat farm. She completed her undergraduate studies at Friends University in Wichita while playing basketball, and then obtained her Doctor’s of Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California. With nearly 15 years of experience, including five years in the Vail Valley, Nichole brings a wealth of knowledge to the clinic. She focuses on manual therapy techniques to treat sports-related injuries and orthopedic problems, but also enjoys working with the elderly and those with vestibular disorders. Nichole’s main activities outside of work revolve around her husband and son. Together they enjoy anything related to sports and the outdoors including skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, ice skating, hiking, hunting, fishing, swimming, and traveling. While at home, she spends as much time as possible playing with her son, gardening, watching movies, and reading.
