With vast experience as a medical social worker and mental health therapist; my main focus has been on helping individuals overcome or adjust to issues pertaining to relationship discord; chronic illness; grief; trauma; parenting; and work-stress. Through active listening; I become familiar with concerns and aspirations of the client and develop a treatment plan. A variety of therapeutic approaches are used; but the primary ones are cognitive behavioral; psychodynamic; spiritual; and humanistic. I look forward to helping people move from defeated to empowered in confronting life challenges.
