More about Dr. Otto Lam, DPT
Otto Lam received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and stayed for his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Stony Brook University. His passion for fitness and wanting to become a better and stronger person everyday drove him towards a career in Physical Therapy and helping others stay active and healthy.
Besides outpatient orthopedics, Otto has treated patients in a variety of settings including acute care at Northwell LIJ Forest Hills, and sub-acute rehabilitation during his clinical affiliations at Stony Brook. Otto also regularly volunteers at the Finish Line Medical Tent at the NYC Marathon every year. In the summer of 2018, Otto spent over a week in Quito, Ecuador as a Physical Therapist volunteer in an outpatient clinic for the impoverished.
Otto enjoys participating in Powerlifting and Olympic Weightlifting and plans to compete in the future. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, listening to music and dancing bachata.
