About Foram Maniar
Foram earned her degree in Physical Therapy from JG College of Physiotherapy, Ahmedabad, India associated with Gujarat University. During her time in the Physical Therapy School, she actively participated and won many accolades for her research and evidence based seminars. She was also awarded with the “Recognition of Excellence” for her outstanding state level achievements in the field of Physical Therapy. She has attended various Conferences and workshops including Therapeutic Taping, Neural Mobilisations and Spinal Assessment.
Foram has always been passionate about being a Physical Therapist as she was introduced to this field at a tender age as her younger sister has special needs and requires physical therapy at every aspect of her life. She saw her sister achieve various milestones with the help of Physical therapy and aspired to become one. Thus, she understands the challenges faced by the patients as well as their families in their recovery phase and hence provides a tailor made plan for each client.
During her time in India, she worked with one of the best physical therapy chain. She gained exposure to diverse range of populations during her rotations. Foram has a wide experience of working in Outpatient, Acute Care as well as Home Health. She has a friendly approach and possess great interpersonal skills. She believes in a holistic treatment approach utilizing her education, manual therapy and therapeutic exercise. Her goal is to not only make the patient pain free but also restore their overall wellness, quality of life and minimize the risk of injuries in the future and get them back to what they love doing.
