Patricia McConnell is a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience. She received her Bachelor's Degree at Rutgers University and her Master of Social Work Degree at Portland State University. She studied for a year at the Institute for Multi-generational Therapy in Portland, OR and is a trained EMDR therapist. Patricia has worked in community mental health settings, medical clinics, university counseling, with veterans, and in residential treatment facilities. She has directed international child welfare programs in Ethiopia, Uganda and South Korea. Patricia's clinical work focuses on treating young and older adults with trauma, PTSD from past abuse or neglect, survivors of domestic abuse, anxiety and mood disorders, grief and loss, and adjustments to life transitions.
