I am a Licensed Professional Therapist in Texas with over 20 years of experience serving the needs of individuals, families, and children. I strive to understand ones concerns and assist in your journey towards better emotional and mental health. My therapeutic approach focuses on encouraging and assisting clients to develop perseverance, become more flexible, and increase their self-worth through evidence based social work modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Supportive Therapies, and Problem Solving Strategies.
My style of therapy is warm and personal. I work by getting to know you as a person since you are the expert on your own life. Together, we can jointly come up with goals and solutions that are going to work for you. I will treat you with sensitivity, respect, and warmth by getting to know you as a unique individual. I like to use solution-focused therapy, family systems theory, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy. By getting to know you, we can figure out which type of counseling is going to be most beneficial to you.
Seeking therapy is not an easy decision to make, and I want to commend you for wanting to create a better life for yourself. I would love to support you and be part of your journey towards the goal of a more fulfilling life.
