Dr. Lance serves a diverse range of clients, from anxious gay men to spiritual seekers of all kinds who are exploring issues of sexuality, relationships, and living with vitality, well-being, and mindfulness. He specializes in relationship coaching, complex post-traumatic stress, and anxiety disorders. As a psychoanalyst, he uses a mode of listening and intervening informed by neuroscience, embodiment, and spirituality.
Dr. Lance earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. He is on the faculty of the Psychoanalytic Center of California and teaches psychotherapy and psychoanalysis at the Southern California University of Health Sciences.
