I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas, supervised by Lynn Strom, LPC-S, and Mark Cagle, LPC-S. I hold a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from The King's University and completed training at the SWBTS Medical Clinic. I also earned my Bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Austin.

I believe most mental and emotional distress is not a bug but a feature of the system we're in.
Brains. Bodies. Families. Marriages. Businesses. Churches. These are all systems. And whatever results you're getting make complete sense based on the system that's currently in place.
So how do you get different results? All it takes is one lever. One pulley. One rule-breaker. And the system has to change around it.
That rule-breaker could be you. Especially if you're the one in pain, if you're the one who's frustrated by the results you're seeing, if you're the one with a vision for a different future.
Change just one person, and you change the system. The world's way of doing things is one kind of system-and the Kingdom of Heaven is another. Therapy is one way of partnering with God in bringing Heaven's system to earth.
