Hi, I’m Rebecca Walker, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) practicing in New York and New Jersey, and I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and OCD. I also specialize in supporting individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and intellectual disabilities. My goal is to offer a space where you feel respected, supported, and empowered to move toward meaningful change.
My therapeutic style is warm, open-minded, and collaborative. I believe that effective therapy starts with a strong connection, and I strive to create a space where you feel safe exploring challenges and building new tools. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Exposure Therapy, and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, and tailor my work to fit your specific needs and goals, whether you’re based in New York or New Jersey.
I completed my graduate training at The University of Pennsylvania and have four years of experience as a psychotherapist. I’m also currently undergoing advanced training in CBT at The Beck Institute to continue deepening my clinical expertise.
