Rosario Aceves, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi! My name is Rosario Aceves. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from California State University, East Bay, and I am excited about the opportunity God has given me to help you through Grow Therapy. I have over 14 years of experience working with teens, adults, and the elderly. As Director of Social Services in a nursing and rehabilitation center, I addressed issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, care planning, and end-of-life concerns. I counseled clients to better manage often very complex health conditions, provided resources, and more. As an Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician at a non-profit clinic, I provided individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, parenting support, grief and loss counseling, mental health care, and substance use support. I worked closely with and provided consultation to medical providers and the care team to ensure holistic and comprehensive care. The pandemic brought transformative opportunities to provide individual therapy via telehealth, benefiting both my clients and me. When I'm not working, I love spending time alone with God, my husband of 14 years, my four wonderful daughters, family, and friends. I have been primarily homeschooling my girls and managing my home to the best of my ability. Being in nature-especially by the ocean or river-drawing, painting, journaling, hiking, and playing sports like soccer, volleyball, basketball, and tennis are things that refuel me.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
