Hi there, I'm Ryan!
My name is Ryan Bennion. I'm a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Salt Lake City, Utah. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Utah. I work with adults and specialize in treating stress, anxiety, and depression, focusing on community integration. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and incorporate mindfulness and experiential elements to help clients make meaningful changes.
My approach
My approach is tailored to the individual and their needs. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps clients and me understand challenges they face. Incorporating solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, and experiential elements provides skills to address concerns from several directions and increase success.

I have experience working with veterans and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, stress, depression, PTSD, grief, schizophrenia, and substance use.

I pride myself on being approachable and non-judgmental, fostering an environment where clients can be open and honest. I support your goals and challenge you to increase your potential.
My goals for you
I take a client-centered approach to goal setting. I support you in addressing what you want to focus on. I make suggestions based on the information provided, but you will be in the driver’s seat.
My first session with you
Our first session will focus on identifying and understanding what brought you to therapy. I will ask questions to better understand the nature, extent, and environment contributing to your situation. Ideally, we will identify goals and initial steps to begin meaningful changes. I understand change is a process and everyone is different.
