I approach the therapeutic process as creative and collaborative. My role is to help guide the client through a nonjudgemental but honest dialogue with the often conflicting and contradictory parts of the mind. Engaging in an inquisitive, rigorous exploration of all the parts of the self facilitates insight, self-awareness, and increased emotional attunement to the self and others. This in turn can lead to healing and recovery from trauma, depression, anxiety, compulsive and impulsive behavior, debilitating (“toxic”) shame, and other obstacles to a rich and meaningful life.
