Things are rarely as bad as they seem when you're anxious, depressed, or when you find yourself in adverse circumstances. Often, a change of perspective can dramatically improve your outlook, increase motivation, curb excessive guilt and build healthy self-regard. By examining negative feelings, behaviors and habits of thought, you can develop insights that bring relief and improve all aspects of your life--love, work and play.
I completed post-graduate training in psychodynamic therapy from the Psychoanalytic Training Institute of the Contemporary Freudian Society. I also have extensive experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and draw on both techniques to help clients reduce symptoms of sadness, low motivation, anxiety, compulsions, excessive guilt and anger.
I offer free consultations to determine whether we are a good fit and offer sliding-scale fees based upon financial ability. I look forward to offering you safe, compassionate and judgement-free therapy.
