Hi There! I’m Sage McDonald a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and Psychotherapist, and I am so happy that you are here! It is not easy to reach out and ask for help or guidance and I am proud of you for doing so. This is the first step in the change that you are looking for!
I have been spending my time for the last 8 years focusing on the mind-body connection with myself and with my clients. I believe in a holistic approach, meaning that everything in our body is connected to our mental health.
In the mountains of Costa Rica, I was taught specific techniques of mindfulness and stress reduction. I have been practicing with clients on how to incorporate breathing exercises, mindfulness activities, and ways to manage stress in their daily lives. Life can be overwhelming and sometimes we just need someone to help guide us through. It’s an honor to be that person for you!
