I am Samantha Graham-Douglas, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri with 16 years of experience. I hold an MSEd in Counseling Psychology from Missouri Baptist University. I am trained in trauma theories and provide competent trauma therapy. I have experience helping clients with stress and anxiety, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, and coping with grief and loss. I also work with co-occurring and addiction issues. I believe you are the expert of your story and have many strengths to overcome challenges. My journey to mental healthcare
In 1993, my husband and I opened a teen center on Main Street in Troy, MO. We thought we were providing a place for our church youth group to hang out. Instead, we received teens who were drug-addicted, from generational trauma, assaulted, on their way to prison, in poverty, and without a safe place. What happened there changed lives and planted a seed in me to learn how to help more.
