I am a highly experienced therapist specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and co-occurring mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief/loss. With over 30 years of clinical experience, I have worked extensively with individuals and families affected by anorexia, bulimia, and other eating disorders, as well as additional mental health concerns.
I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor’s degree from Wilmington College. My areas of expertise include Family-Based Treatment (FBT/Maudsley Approach) for adolescent eating disorders, evidence-based therapies across all levels of eating disorder care, and culturally responsive treatment for diverse populations. I predominantly provide CBT therapy for co-occurring issues like anxiety, depression, and trauma, alongside multidisciplinary consultation and comprehensive treatment planning.
I am certified as an Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) by the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. I have advanced training in Family-Based Treatment and serve as a CEDS-Approved Consultant, offering consultation to other professionals in this leading evidence-based therapy.
