Her job is to help you build upon those skills you may not be aware of. Semaj has a laid back, conversational style of therapy where she uses humor to break the ice and engage clients. Semaj uses a strength based, collaborative approach where the client is considered the expert in their life, and she is a supportive person on your mental health journey. Semaj’s focus is working with adults with concerns such as depression, anxiety, stress management, relationship/family stressors, life transitions, and difficulty maintaining a work/life balance. Let’s focus on coming up with solutions to your problems together. Expect to feel, heard, and validated during the first session. Outside of work, Semaj enjoys taking her dog for a walk, reading, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
