My name is Shira Mosbacher, and I have been a licensed Physical Therapist for nearly 21 years. After graduating from Long Island University in 2000, I was fortunate enough to gain valuable learning experiences at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, Helen Hayes Hospital, Englewood Hospital, and Medical Center, Visiting Nurse Services of NY, and Northeast Orthopedic and Sports Medicine. Along this journey, I completed certifications in esoteric energy healing, polarity therapy, hypnosis and visualization for healing, essential oils, cranial-sacral therapy, and Pilates for mat and equipment.
I have found that my investment in holistic training was an enormous benefit and adjunct for healing in the physical therapy forum. By incorporating an integrative approach and utilizing different manual techniques, a wider variety of clientele can be helped by my services.
As a member of the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association) and PMA (Pilates Method Alliance), I consistently keep up with the latest evidence-based treatments, and evolve my practice by attending continuing education courses regularly.
