About Dr. George Saggal

Dr George Saggal is a Board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician who has great experience working with both D1 and D2 collegiate athletes to keep their bodies functioning at their best. Dr George was born and raised in Rhode Island where he found his passion for sailboat racing. He found himself on the sailing team at the University of Rhode Island, and traveled the world competing at the professional level and acquired a national championship.
Dr. George was previously a director of a multidisciplinary practice down the Jersey Shore for many years before venturing out on his own. During that time, he made himself very involved in the community he served and loved the family and team environment of the office he was at. Dr. George has worked many 5k events, as well as volunteered at the Active Release Technique tent a few days leading up to and including race day for the Ironman Triathlon in Lake Placid. That experience alone opened his world to how much more chiropractors can do for not only athletes, but for members of the community that he serves.
Before moving to the area, Dr. George volunteered every Wednesday night in Parsippany on their first aid squad. He saw everything from broken hips, overdoses, highway crashes, and even strokes as they delivered to St. Claires and Morristown Hospitals.
Dr. George is full-body certified in Active Release Technique (ART), RockTape certified, as well as Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab Provocation and Motion (FAKTR).

I’ve had on going knee pain from a soccer injury. I initially tried PT which sort of helped. But I really started feeling relief once I made an appointment with Dr. Saggal. On my first visit he evaluated my knee and he talked me through his treatment plan. He was thorough knowledgeable. The front office staff was great too! I had an issue with my insurance plan and they were able to sort it out for me! Highly recommended!!

I went to Dr. Saggal after an injury to my arm. He was able to relieve my pain and get me back on track. He also helped me with back and neck pain I was feeling. My posture feels better too! He is wonderful and I also love the office renovations. I feel very comfortable with Dr. Saggal and his staff. He comes highly recommended!

Dr. George has some serious skills. I’m a D1 baseball player and had some serious shoulder pain. After the first visit, my shoulder range of motion was almost fully back. Proceeding visits brought me my strength and stability back. Highly recommend for any athletes in the area.

After two back surgeries and two rounds of unhelpful physical therapy, I was hesitant to see a chiropractor. I'm a person who prefers personal space, and also had heightened sensitivity from my chronic pain and limited mobility. Dr. George could sense this immediately and was extremely patient and kind. He explained what he was going to do before each different adjustment and made sure I was okay with it. Overall excellent bedside manner and professionalism.
I had a noticable improvement after the first visit and no hesitations about booking additional appointments. I am now pain free and back to playing the sport I love.
