Stacy is a friendly and determined therapist. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York Medical College (NYMC) in 2010. Prior to NYMC, Stacy earned a BA in Psychology from Mount Saint Mary College (MSMC). During her time at MSMC Stacy was a four-year starter on the women's basketball team. She still remains an avid athlete that maintains a healthy lifestyle. Stacy has had 11 years of diverse experiences in physical therapy but her interest is in treating orthopedics and sports medicine patients.
Not only has her interest in the human anatomy and her compassionate heart led her to pursue this career but her experiencing the patients’ side of the therapy world has also played a big role. Completing an extensive rehabilitation process after having ACL reconstruction surgery enables her to say, "I understand" or "I was there at one point too." Stacy believes that the greatest satisfaction and strength in life comes from overcoming obstacles. Her excellent academic experience has taught her to treat the whole person rather than just focusing on the injury. This has helped Stacy provide patients with the highest possible level of care by gaining a trustful relationship and motivating environment that makes rehabilitation a positive experience.
