Runners rejoice! That mega painful sports injury that won't go away no matter what you do? The team at PhysioFitness will get you back on your feet. I was lucky to work with Stan Kupchenko, a knowledgeable and thoughtful professional. His implementation of the Fascial Counterstrain technique has alleviated my immediate pain as well as released lingering tension that affected my movement. I am excited to continue relying on PhysioFitness as I begin half marathon season!
I have found that Physiofitness has some of the best therapists available. Currently Stan has the perfect mixture of experience, modern modalities, attention, listening, and care to combine in an organic treatment of my multiple lumbar disc issues and in particular my history of "self-abuse" of my body. The receptionist, Rosie, is calming, patient, and friendly in arranging for appointments and call-backs when wait-listed.

Stan is excellent and always goes the extra mile to help. Great knowledge, feel confident he knows what he is talking about!
Great people - my physical therapist, Stan, really helped me and is a great guy. And they get great results.
Stan!! He is amazing and has helped tremendously in only four sessions so far.

Stan has magic hands. I first went to HSS for 2 or 3 sessions. They spent about an hour total for all 3 sessions. First session with Stan was an hour and about 50% of my pain was already gone. Always brilliant.
Cannot recommend Physiofitness enough - the team is top-notch in terms of expertise, approach and attitude, Chris and Stan are amazing, their knowledge and willingness and ability to assess and address issues really is exceptional - they seem to be encyclopedias of knowledge of the body and physical therapy techniques. They are just experts at what they do, and their total client-focus during each session really sets them above other places. I am going to Physiofitness for physical therapy post-shoulder surgery. I have had physical therapy elsewhere before and this is such a world of difference. The therapists are in constant contact with my surgeon to share progress and assess my treatment plan. They have cutting edge tools like cold laser therapy that have accelerated my healing. The environment (a loft in Soho) is extremely comfortable and makes it pleasant to be there; I actually enjoy going to physical therapy. The staff and therapists are truly thoughtful and funny people too, and it's just a great team 1 am so grateful my surgeon referred me to Chris and Stan at Physiofitness - could not recommend them more.
There is a rare and superlative level of both Competence and Care [capitals intended] that combines for a truly effective treatment at Physiofitness. Were it not for the clear understanding and explanation of the body, its processes, and the efficacy of the treatments, I would swear it was magic. Stan plays the spine like a concert pianist. Every nuance of every aspect of body structure is so thoroughly understood that nurturing your body back to health is like listening to your favorite music. Previously no approach worked for me. It's so refreshing to know that real help exists.
I've been working with Stan for 2.5 months and he is a true healer! I was born with a mobility disability and Stan has helped me more in two months than any other PT I've ever had -- and I've had MANY! Physiofitness Physical Therapy isn't your average PT office. The team at PPT listens and cares about improving YOUR quality of life. I can't recommend Stan and the entire PPT team highly enough!
Exceptionally knowledgeable therapists, wonderful place. Stan has been amazing helping me recover not only from my acute injury, but balancing out more chronic issues at the same time.
Great staff. Stan has been great about listening to my concerns and finding treatments that address my concerns as a whole instead of spot treating pain.
Stan is downright frighteningly knowledgeable about every muscle in the human body, and knows exactly how to pinpoint the stress points and relieve the pain. I always leave feeling 150% better.
Stan will change your life. Best PT I’ve ever worked with (and I’ve worked with a lot). You will feel way better after your first session.
