Stephanie is an experienced Outpatient Pediatric Occupational Therapist with a passion for collaborating with families to support their child and the family’s overall quality of life. From a treatment perspective, she is focused on being patient and family-centered and taking a strengths-based, evidence-driven approach to supporting her therapeutic outcomes.
She graduated with her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina and has worked almost exclusively in the adolescent mental health and outpatient pediatric therapy settings. A passionate and avid learner, she holds an advanced level practitioner certification in DIR Floortime, is a Star Institute Advanced Mentored Clinician in Sensory Processing Disorder, is certified in the Sensory Integration series through Spiral Foundation, holds a certification in the Ayres’ Sensory Integration Theory, Assessment, and Treatment program through the University of Southern California, and is currently a fellow in the Infant-Parent Mental Health Specialist fellowship program through UC Napa-Davis. She also has a variety of training and experience in the following areas: Integrated Listening Systems, trauma-informed care, bowel/bladder dysfunction and toileting difficulties, and mental health.
