I was diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatter disease when I was 10 years old. I went through physical therapy for my knee pain in high school and really enjoyed my physical therapy experience, which sparked my interest in pursuing a degree in physical therapy. I attended Montclair State University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Exercise Science while working as an aide at Professional Physical Therapy. I then went to the University of New England for physical therapy school, earning my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2019. During my time there, I completed three clinical rotations. My first rotation was in acute care at NYU Langone Rusk Rehab, where I worked primarily with patients who were post-op joint surgeries. My second rotation was in an outpatient orthopedic setting at Professional Physical Therapy in Edison. My last rotation was in Brunswick, Maine, working in a home care setting, where I treated patients with COPD, neurological diseases, active and post-COVID conditions, and more. My interest in outpatient orthopedics grew very strong after my second rotation.
