Ms. Seeley earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminology, from Hood College in 2017. She went on to pursue her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling from Bellevue University in 2023.
While earning her Master’s degree, Ms. Seeley had the opportunity to work with adults within the family, group, and individual counseling settings. She worked with a diverse range of clients who have experienced depression, anxiety, trauma, domestic abuse and violence, relationship difficulties, challenges in transitional stages of life and substance abuse treatment and recovery. She is passionate in aiding her clients in processing difficult life situations while placing emphasis on their goals.
?When it comes to therapy, Ms. Seeley utilizes a strengths-based approach with foundations in the person-centered techniques to aid clients in developing, maintaining, and identifying a strong sense of self and autonomy.
She also uses therapeutic techniques such as motivational interviewing and active listening to meet her clients where they are at and foster adaptive coping skills. She implements cognitive behavioral techniques to assist clients in gaining a better understanding of their own thoughts and behaviors. Her practice is guided by a humanistic approach where self-actualization is a key part of growth within many different life stages and transitions.
