While living in the City of Angels, I earned my B.A. in Psychology, M.A. in Clinical Psychology, and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology; the graduate degrees come from APA accredited California School of Professional Psychology, which is part of Alliant International University. Following graduation with my Ph.D., I relocated to rural Southeast Alaska, where I treat clients in psychotherapy, including but not limited to borderline personality disorder, survivors of sexual assault, and loss, grief and bereavement. For children, play therapy often complements talk therapy; one of my predoctoral internships included extensive training in play therapy, some of it from none other than the renowned Dr. Glen Roberts himself! My last predoctoral internship took place at a site which specializes in treating survivors of sexual assault, and I have additional education and training in treating loss, grief and bereavement.
