I am a skilled, caring therapist with years of experience treating clients from emerging adulthood through the senior years. I have a collaborative, empathetic therapeutic style and utilize psychodynamic, cognitive and person-centered approaches; sessions with me are warm but structured/active! My interest in the field began while attending New York University, and I received a Master of Social Work from Fordham University in 2009. I completed my advanced year internship at Jacobi Medical Center, Bronx, NY, and since graduating I have worked in hospital, human services and outpatient settings.
My work is currently focused on treating adults individuals and couples, and on treating anxiety, depression, adjustment to challenging life circumstances and changes, and interpersonal difficulties. I have a background in crisis work and advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
