I am deeply drawn to working in a client-centered, trauma-informed, and somatically oriented way. My hope is to simply accompany and support you in feeling safe as you learn to traverse your body's metaphors and your psyche's messages. I believe you know yourself best, and I am dedicated to creating a space that empowers you instead of teaching you that I somehow possess the answers. I work in a relational way, using the therapeutic dynamic to build trust and safety over time. Intersectionality is also continually held in our frame, as we explore and integrate the different layers of our identities.
As a genderqueer identified individual, I bring a passion for LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapy and care, as well as a greater embrace for the fluidity and spectrums existent across society and life. I also specialize in Gestalt therapy, which empowers the client to recognize their own radical self-responsibility through here-and-now body centered interventions.
