Hi, I'm Trevor Schabert, MS, LPCC, a licensed therapist passionate about helping people heal from trauma, anxiety, identity struggles, and the pressure to always “have it together.” If you've spent years putting yourself last, masking your true self, or trying to meet everyone else's expectations, you're not alone, and you don't have to keep doing it alone.
I earned my Master's in Counseling and Student Personnel from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and specialize in supporting individuals who have experienced complex trauma, emotional invalidation, and conditional love. Many of my clients struggle with self-worth, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or feeling disconnected from their true identity. Whether those patterns stem from childhood, relationships, or life transitions, we'll work together to break harmful cycles and create space for healing.
I also work with individuals impacted by military service, including veterans navigating moral injury, grief, or the challenges of reintegration. Therapy offers a safe space to process these experiences, strengthen resilience, and reconnect with purpose, without judgment or pressure.
My approach is warm, trauma-informed, and client-centered. I blend evidence-based techniques like CBT, motivational interviewing, hypnotherapy, and strengths-based strategies to support insight, growth, and lasting change.
I believe healing doesn't stop at the therapy door. I'm currently developing guided workbooks and online tools so clients can deepen their healing journey between sessions.
