I'm passionate about helping individual adults transform life's difficulties into opportunities. Anxiety, trauma, depression, and major life transitions are issues within my scope of expertise. After more than 35 years of working with individuals and families and more than 48 years of a deeply rewarding marriage and family life, I continue to love the process of helping adults of all ages cross the threshold towards an authentic and deeply satisfying life.
My approach is Narrative (post modern) and Solution Focused. You can re-author your life at any age. Therapy is a profound collaboration that, when effective, becomes like a dance.
I bring an enormous amount of life experience across a broad range of culture and societal influences and have worked with client with a wide range of backgrounds. I live a zen Buddhist life philosophy wherein yoga, meditation and mindfulness are important healing practices. My practice is strength based.
