Stella received her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Columbia University and later earned a second master’s degree in Developmental Psychology at Harvard University. She believes healing happens in unexpected moments, and is committed to creating a safe space to empower clients in their journey of growth and self-discovery. Taking a person-centered stance, Stella employs a strength-based approach, integrating solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness practices into her work. Stella provides therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. She has extensive experience working with BIPOC and immigrant populations, and she values how sociocultural factors shape the way individuals understand themselves. With this system your out of pocket costs will be limited to $50-$100 at most per session when working toward your deductible.
