after reading the reviews i went to this dentist but it was terrible my tooth was hurting they cleaned it then gave me a filling, after i went home i was in so much pain and was asked to come back once i called to complain. After going back another dentist at this office removed the fillings and put in another filling. After i went home i could not eat anything because i was in so much pain. Then called the receptionist promised that i was going to get a call back and i never did. i do not recomment

Not the best bedside manner. Only book on Zocdoc if its your first appointment. If its anytime after that they do not add you through the schedule even though you are confirmed on Zocdoc

Extremely long wait; Appointment at 12:30 was t seen until nearly 2pm; offices are kind of run down and my dental cleaning took approximately 10 mins. Felt very rushed. Won’t be coming back will stick to my regular dentist.

I decided to get a filling filed down so I made an appointment with the same doctor I saw last time, Dr.Alexander Sakthivelu. I wasn't informed that my tooth would feel weird or extra sensitive after the filling. When I get to the appointment that day the man decides to see me while he is already working on a patient, asking whats wrong, being hasty etc. I told him that my bite felt off and he says "i don't know what you're talking I did the filling perfectly fine" -_-. So I said are you sure :). Then the man decides to start shaving my tooth down, then only after does he state that the filling was behind the front tooth not below it. So in my head I'm thinking "Why did you shave the bottom of my tooth -_-. Then the man stops and says I'll be back , in the mean time talk to a nurse .. after 20 min I asked a nurse for pictures of my teeth and the x-rays that they had on file. My tooth isn't giving me the same problem I first had but now it is extra sensitive and gives mild pain when I chew , all because this man is impatient and not serious about is work.

More than twos hours waiting in a empty office. Receptionist is beyond rude and the dentist did not want to remove a tooth i stated more than once to remove instead of a root canal but did not listen. WORST dentist and staff ever!

Employees are not friendly
Went for filling and they managed to find 3 issues that needed to be fixed before filling so wanted to stretch 6 appointments for one filling. Not cool. Went elsewhere filling was done and teeth reevaluated, only fillings needed.

The Dr himself was great. He was very knowledgeable professional and compassionate. Definitely not what I'm used to in other dentists. However the office is a mess, which is a poor reflection on the Dr. The business cards are confusing. The office name listed on the card is different then the the names listed with the automated service when you call the numbers listed on the card. When you choose an office, it MUST be the right one because their system isn't linked together so you must all each office to verify whether you are a patient there. Furthermore, my experience overall was terrible. When I arrived for my appointment that I booked earlier that day, I was told that the available times listed on zoc doc were actually inaccurate and the Dr didn't have an open slot for the next 2 months! But I was also told that I was in luck because someone canceled their appointment for later that day and that I could take their place. I happily obliged! I came back for my appointment and the Dr. and his assistant took X-rays and determined I needed a crown for a broken tooth that was hurting so bad. They said it would take about 6 weeks to get approved by the insurance company. So I reluctantly agreed to wait for the approval of the insurance. I set up an appointment and they told me they would call if anything changes. They called me the day before my appointment (6 weeks later ) to tell me that they still haven't received approval from my insurance company and they would call me to set an appointment once they receive approval. Alright I guess. So I wait an additional TWO weeks and did not hear back from the office. So when I called them , I was told that the insurance company still did not approve my request. So I hung up with them and called my insurance hoping to expedite this process. When I asked about the claim they said I such claim was filed. BINGO!!! I asked them were they sure and they confirmed that no claim was made on my behalf to fix my painful tooth that I've been suffering with for nearly 3 months. I called the office back, not even upset, just wanting to fix the problem so we can move on and I can get my tooth fixed. The constituents of this office, Patty and Jo Becky in particular, made this extremely difficult to do so. I explained to patty the situation and she told me Jo becky would call me back to provide more insight to the problem and rectify it. I never received a call back from the office. After a few days, I called and got patty again. She told me the same thing. I told her I just need her to tell me if there was a claim submitted for me in their system. She said Jo becky is on break and can tell me when she comes back. So I guess this office thrives on Jo Becky who is obviously never available to make this office functional. Because I don't understand how one couldn't simply look up a patients information and verify if a claim was submitted. All in all, I believe they were attempting to hide and dodge their error by giving me the run around. This experience was nothing but stress, pain and a lot of my time wasted, which is a shame because the Dr is genuinely great. His assistant was awesome too. The girls upfront? Not so much... I changed my dental provider.
