Dr. Anahita Abdehou is a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. After dental school she completed a one-year residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Maryland dental school and has been in private practice in Maryland ever since. She is the former president of the WIDS.
Dr. Abdehou is committed to advanced continuing education. She stays current with technological advances through post-graduate training at The Pankey Institute and specialized courses and master training in aesthetic and clinical care. She has extensive training in oral conscious sedation, obstructive sleep apnea therapy with oral appliances and is an Invisalign® provider.
She is currently a member of American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and the Maryland State Dental Association.
Her mission and philosophy is service to the community, treating patients with respect, kindness and compassion. She also gets much satisfaction from donating her time to the local Catholic Center Dental Clinic.
Dr. Abdehou is married with two children and always enjoys spending quality family time, traveling and learning different cultures and playing sports, particularly swimming.
