Dr. Anthony Ferrera, a long time Peninsula resident, graduated from Burlingame High School in 1999. He obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from San Diego State University in 2003. Upon completion, he returned to San Francisco and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2007.
Dr. Ferrera is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), San Mateo County Dental Society (SMCDS), American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).
Dr. Ferrera is committed to each patient’s long term care. His scope of practice includes general preventative care, cosmetic dentistry, sports dentistry, conscious sedation dentistry and sleep apnea care. He strives for innovative care; therefore he attends continuing education courses annually to ensure he provides the best dental treatments for all his patients.
Of course it’s not always about dentistry; he maintains a great work life balance by spending time with his family during his spare time. He also enjoys skiing, traveling, football (San Francisco 49ers), UFC, golfing, wake boarding and Muay Thai boxing.
