He is a Board-certified General Dentist who received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Benedict College, Masters in Medical Science from Hampton University and his Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in 2007. He completed his residency at Meharry Medical College as Chief Resident in 2008. Dr. Smith is an active member of the American Dental Association, and has always exceeded the continuing education requirements of the state. He is a proud officer in the Army National Guard.
His hobbies include fitness, music, and cars. Dr. Smith is married to Chelsea, his wife of eighteen years. They have three children: Soloman, Maya and Brock.

Dr. Smith was amazing. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything he was doing and allowed me to ask questions on whatever I was not sure about. I felt no pain during my cleaning. I left the office feeling good and knowing so much more about the importance of flossing daily. I highly recommend Dr. Smith.
