“It was a large office complex with many friendly employees. After I filled out forms I was seen right away. I did not care for the parking lot but the staff helped me fill out the phone link and had a 2-hour paid time limit and if my visit would have been longer, she said she would redo it again. I have no complaints so far and would recommend Sage Dental.”

About Dr. Veeral Patel
Dr. Veeral Patel is a dedicated general dentist with a strong academic foundation and a passion for delivering research-driven dental care. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Biology from Kalamazoo College in 2015, followed by a Master of Health Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2016. In 2021, he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and further enhanced his clinical skills through an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery program at Ascension Macomb in Southeast Michigan.
Dr. Patel began his professional journey in West Marietta, Georgia, working in private practice before expanding his scope of services at Walmart Health. In 2024, he gained valuable experience providing comprehensive care at Providence Dental Spa’s Powers Ferry Family Dentistry location, serving patients of all ages with dedication and skill. Dr. Patel offers a wide range of dental services, including simple and complex extractions, anterior and molar root canals, premolar root canals, and prosthodontic treatments. He is an active member of both the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Patel enjoys staying active through running, reading, discovering new restaurants, and spending quality time with family and friends.

I have been to the Sage Dental clinic a few times in the last year and have not found any of my issues to actually be resolved. At my most recent visit, I tried seeing a new dentist (Dr. Patel), and his condescension and dismissal of my problems was a bit frustrating. For reference, I have had the same crown (placed by another dentist at the office) adjusted 4 times now and still have pain. Upon my visit with Dr. Patel, he immediately felt the need to defend his coworker who placed the crown (unprompted, I was not talking down on her???), then went on to disregard my concerns. I have been unable to eat comfortably for months at this point and his advice was to try “taking Motrin.” As an RN, I fear I have already tried that method with no success. I don’t think I would recommend this clinic to anyone at this point. The staff are capable, but I genuinely think their focus on patient turnover leads to a lack in quality care.
