About Dr. Solomon Jacobs
Dr. Solomon Jacobs earned his Bachelor’s degree in biology at Georgia State University. He continued his education at the second oldest dental school in the nation- Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA. There, he gained experience in one of the best clinical and research-driven dental programs in the nation. He went on to attend a General Practice Residency program at the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York City. With the hospital being a level one trauma center, Dr. Jacobs received a unique experience that focused heavily on oral surgery and advanced dental procedures.
From a young age, Dr. Jacobs seemed to be destined for dentistry. Dr. Jacobs grew up always working with his hands. From taking things apart at home as a young boy, to working on cars for countless hours in his garage, to taking on more weekend DIY projects than he probably should have - Dr. Jacobs was always working with his hands. Dr. Jacobs even helped in designing and building our beautiful office. (He couldn’t help but be a part of the process!) With this love for everything mechanical and his hands-on approach to life, Dentistry came naturally for Dr. Jacobs since it involves a great deal of manual dexterity, hand skills, and an artistic vision. Today, Dr. Jacobs utilizes his skills and artistic finesse to provide the patients of Sandy Springs with the highest quality dental care possible.
At Dentistry of Sandy Springs, Dr. Jacobs places an emphasis on conservative dentistry and preventative care as he feels this is the best model for practicing dentistry. Dr. Jacobs recommends patients visit the dentist often for cleanings as this allows us to not only clean the teeth professionally but also gives us the opportunity to identify potential problems before they become major issues for the patient. Regular visits to the dentist allow us to remain conservative with the treatment plan and ultimately leads to healthier teeth and happier patients.

All staff in the establishment were vey nice, pleasant, and informative. My hygienist was very gentle and efficient with my cleaning. Dr. Solomon had great bedside manner, informative, efficient, and listened to all questions and concerns. The office was extremely clean and modern. My overall experience was 100/10!

Dr. Jacobs and his staff were very friendly and personable. Between the women at the front desk, the woman who did my x-rays, the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth, everyone was great and respectful. The office is beautiful with state-of-the-art equipment and immaculately clean. Dr. Jacobs spent a great deal of time with me explaining my x-rays and some spots where we have to follow up. Then I was sent home with a beautiful bag with goodies, including a chap stick. Overall I would recommend the office and staff highly.

My experience was top notch, from beginning to end. From the easiness to park, to the two receptionists receiving with great smiles, offering water bottles, coffee, to the dentist assistant doing my evaluation with high technology, to the hygienist that was smooth and precise, to the main dentist, Dr Solomon, that gave me a very fair dental assessment, very technical, detailed, answering all my questions, with clarity and knowledge and, most important of all, not trying to oversell me any procedures I don't need. I'll return for sure!

Dr. Jacobs and his staff were extremely professional, efficient and transparent. Upon arrival to the clinic, I was shown a sheet of all tentative services and my expected payment for the day. Within two minutes, I was in a seat. Dr. Jacobs performed the most thorough dental exam I've ever had. He took time to explain all my X-ray findings and allowed me to take autonomy over my dental health. I highly recommend his clinic for anyone seeking a pleasant dental experience.

Newer dental office in Sandy Springs right by the Prado Target...super clean, friendly staff, they helped worked with my previous dentist (and quickly) to get my dental records to them. I've been going to the same dentist for 15 years but they stopped taking DeltaDental and I had to find a new one. I'm so glad I found Dr. Solomon Jacobs!

This is the best Dentist office I have ever been to. Upon arrival the receptionist was amazing, super sweet and so friendly. Very refreshing to walk into a place and the front desk person doesn’t have an attitude (wish I could remember her name !) The entire staff really are extremely friendly, and the office is clean and cute. Above all Dr. Solomon was thorough, gentle, and informative. I was so anxious that my cleaning was going to be so painful but honestly the pain was so minimal I was utterly surprised! I think I actually might like going to the dentist again. Grateful I found an awesome dental office that I will continue to go to for years to come. 10/10!

The office was super clean and brand new. The dental hygienist (Nicole I think was her name) was so friendly & kind. Once they recline you in the dentist chair, you realize there's a tv on the ceiling so you may view tv rather than attempting to have an awkward conversation while your mouth is full of hands. Dr. Jacobs actually does all his first time patients' cleanings himself which was really cool & made me (someone who despises going to the dentist) feel more comfortable. I mentioned teeth whitening at the beginning of my appointment, so Dr. Jacobs walked me through all the pros/cons of professional whitening but never once did he or his receptionist (who provided me with the price quote) pressure me into getting that service, or anything else, done. Great team! Will be making Dr. Jacobs my primary dentist, for sure!

Signed up to see Dr Solomon last minute due to new insurance, I’m also new to the area. This was probably the best dentist experience I’ve ever had and I’m 26. Really sweet staff and I valued Dr. Solomon spending time with me for my cleaning and letting me ask all the questions I had for dental care. They have Netflix to watch during the appt for nervous patients! Highly recommend

Dr. Yakubov was able to complete two fillings and an extraction all in one visit which was very convenient for my work schedule and to get the use of my benefits before the year ended. I had been neglecting getting my tooth extracted because I was worried it would be really painful. He did a great job numbing me, the process took less than 20 minutes all together and I didn't feel anything.
