Dr. Eng was hands down the best dentist I have ever seen. His bedside manner was professional but yet courteous and kind too. Often it has been my personal experience that dentists have applied a lot of criticism/pressure and therefore patients have a ton of anxiety before dental visits. Dr. Eng did none of that. He might have given the same "advice" but in such a completely different manner that I will look forward to my next visit.

Dr. Brian Eng is an insightful, compassionate dentist treating patients in New York City and the surrounding communities. He operates out of SLimDental, where he strives to provide excellent dental care and to foster patients’ faith in Dentistry. Dr. Brian Eng’s personal mission is to maintain a keen focus on the humanity at the core of dentistry, all while delivering the highest quality of care. He believes that enduring oral health is attainable through professional integrity and compassion.
Dr. Eng is a Brooklynite with Jersey roots. He attended Rutgers College where he received his Bachelors in Biological Sciences, graduating with honors. He subsequently moved to Baltimore to attend the University of Maryland Dental School, where he earned a place in the Prosthodontics Honor Society en route to receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Eng returned to New Jersey for a position at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital as a general practice resident. After his time in the hospital, he decided to move across the pond to New York and has been serving the Midtown and Upper East Side communities ever since. Dr. Eng perpetually looks to refine his technique and knowledge in the field of dentistry. Aiming to double the state required amount of continuing education hours, he works tirelessly to ensure the care he delivers is on the cutting edge.
During his leisure time, Brian is photography and mountain climbing enthusiast. He is also an avid writer, musician, and production contributor to off-Broadway theaters in the West Village. He makes sure to take his time and answer any patient questions to provide a more relaxed visit.

Dr. Eng filled some cavities for me. I was really nervous about the procedure - I have a horrible fear of needles. He was really patient and made the shots so gentle that I could barely feel them! The rest of the procedure went quickly and smoothly. I was really happy with the service I received and with how professional Dr. Eng was throughout. I would definitely recommend him to others!

Expensive but well worth it, especially if you going to the dentist isn't high on your list of "fun" things to do. Dr. Eng is friendly, reassuring, and won't rush just to pack in more patients. This was the most pleasant dentist experience I have ever had.

Visit was great! I went in for a cleaning and Dr. Eng took his time explaining to me what was going on with my teeth. He was very aware of what my teeth or gums may feel during the cleaning process and took his time to make sure that sensitive areas in my mouth were taken care of properly. Fantastic dentist!
