With more than eight years in current practice, as well as ten years of experience as a dental lab technician, Dr. Cary Birkitt continues the tradition of masterful and compassionate care for dental patients in the Leesburg community begun by his father (Dr. Glenn H. Birkitt) more than five decades ago.
To keep abreast of the latest advances in oral care treatments and technologies, Dr. Birkitt regularly attends continuing education training and seminars in the areas of preventative, restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Leveraging this extensive background and experience with both dental materials and restorative techniques, Dr. Birkitt achieves transformative results for his patients.
In addition to receiving an undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, Dr. Birkitt completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery professional degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis.
Currently, Dr. Birkitt is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Hollenback-Medina Operative Dentistry Seminar, a participative professional organization dedicated to furthering best practices through peer-reviewed, clinical operations. In addition, he is presently Membership Chair of the Leesburg Host Lions Club, a leading community service organization.
Dr. Birkitt lives in Leesburg, with his wife, Judi, and their son, Hunter. Aside from dentistry, Dr. Birkitt enjoys biking, gardening, music and spending time with his family and friends.
