I have only been once but I felt so welcomed and comfortable. I have a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended) by my last dentist office. This doctor and her entire office wiped that clean with just this one visit. They were informative, and answered all of my questions without hesitancy. Made a plan to get my teeth/mouth back in tip top shape.

Loved the whole team from the second I walked in. After a bad experience, I had not been to the dentist in YEARS. They made me feel super comfortable the entire time. Very thorough exam, and speedy game plan and appointment for a deep clean.

Dr. Chelsea Balderson has wanted to be a dentist since childhood having grown up around her stepmom’s practice in Arlington, Virginia. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Dentistry. She completed a two year residency program at the University of Tennessee Medical Center following which she returned to her Northern Virginia roots to embark on her lifelong passion of practicing dentistry by opening up her own practice in Falls Church.
Dr. Balderson recognizes the anxieties that many people experience with a visit to their dentist, so she strives to provide exceptional customer service combined with quality treatment. Her nurturing treatment philosophy allows her to work well with children and patients with special needs. Her goal and passion is building lifelong patient relationships.
Dr. Balderson is local to the Arlington/Falls Church area and lives with her fiancé, Tyler Greene - who is also a Virginia Tech Hokie, and works in the Information Technology (IT) services industry. In her free time, she enjoys staying healthy with CrossFit and playing with their dog - Jimmy. Her guilty pleasure is Bravo TV, and favorite food is oatmeal.

As usual, my visit was great. I met Dr. Omar today. He is good. It is always a pleasure to see Stephanie. I LOVE Dr. Balderson. She is honest, and she cares about her patients. She treats me like a family member and I appreciate it. I'm very confortable with her. Last year I went for my annual APPT and I had in mind that day would be my last day with Opimum Dental. Why do I have to travel miles away when I could find good dentists three minutes away from my house?
When I met Dr. Balderson, I changed my mind. Now, I don't mind traveling extra miles to see someone who puts my health first, someone who listens and who knows what she is doing. I love the staff. They're all great. I'm very fortunate to be part of Opimum Dental Family.

Awesome dentist in Dr. Chelsea Balderson, staff, and facilities! The ability to book online and confirm/reschedule appointments are super convenient. They are definitely ahead of the times compared to other dental practices. I could mistaken the staff as if they were from the hospitality industry as you are treated like a VIP the moment you walk into the office greeted by a cheerful front desk (who actually care about you) and are highly organized with check in and out procedures. Dr. Balderson and especially the technicians are very friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and walk you through the entire process to ensure you know what to expect. I was actually surprised the dentist took the time to hang back a little to make sure all my questions were answered - completely unrushed - which is unheard of across medical circles. Prices are reasonable and I highly recommend this practice!

I've been to many different dentists in my life because I've moved all over the country for work. Dr Balderson is the best that I've had the pleasure of working with. She is always kind, entertaining, and attentive. She makes sure I am comfortable and not in pain. She actively tells me procedures she is doing, and why. She advises preventative measures instead of reactive ones. She has taken amazing care of my teeth. I am thrilled to say that I no longer dread going to the dentist. The office is clean, the wait time is minimal (longest was 10 minutes, but average is less than 5 minutes), the staff is kind and profession. All staff members are proactive, and often answer my questions before I ask (procedure and billing wise). I have recently moved farther away from the office, but would rather make the 50 minute drive to see her rather than switch dentists. Dr Balderson and her staff do a great job. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Balderson is such a sweet person and really goes out her way to make sure I'm comfortable. Apart from being good to patients she seems to be a very kind boss and is so respectful and appreciative of her staff. She complements their efforts and encourages them. She is also a very detail oriented dentist and wants to do a perfect job. I love this practice. High quality dental work, trustworthy and attentive.

Dr. Balderson is a phenomenal doctor. She is so kind and accommodating. She fit me into her schedule due to urgency without a hitch. Her staff is first class, especially the office manager she is incredibly kind (just like the Doctor). The office is clean and beautiful. Just an exceptional Dental Practice on every level. Would highly recommend this exceptional Doctor.
