The dentist was fine, though I felt like some services like sealants and retainers (both of which I have and didn’t need) were pushed heavily on me. I asked if it was necessary for my teeth and they said not at all but pushed them on me in a salesman sort of way. In any case, I do not recommend Gentle Care Dentists. It was hands down the most painful teeth cleaning experience I have ever had. It felt like my gums were being scraped with this automatic tool they had and also the hygienist left the suction in my mouth to the point where it hurt. Also, the practice does not work with Zocdoc and double booked me twice - once, the office called me and said they moved my appointment but never did. Also both times the receptionist was late or absent, which caused even more confusion.

Dr Y is the jam! He is fast and efficient. The staff are great as well. Nobody really loves going to the dentist, but Dr Y and the staff make it a more pleasant experience.

I recently had a tooth chip while eating. A quick call to Dr Yousefzadeh's office and I was in right away. Dr Y got my tooth fixed in no time and I cannot speak highly enough of the quality work he does. Glad to know my dental health is in good hands.

The dentist was good - the hygienist was not. I stated on my forms & in person to the hygienist I was there for a check-up but also I was concerned about sharp pain in one of my lower left molars. During cleaning, the instrument touched the affected molar & I yelled in pain. The hygienist said I needed to keep my tongue out of the way (like it was my fault). Then all of a sudden she yelled, "Oh my God!" - several times - and freaked out because she saw my tooth crack in half. She kept exclaiming she had never seen anything like it. Meanwhile, I - the patient - tried to remain calm during her outbursts (although I was shocked & nervous) & I pulled the broken tooth half off of my tongue. The hygienist kept saying, "That's unsaveable!" Yeah, I figured that, but you could have been a bit more sensitive. The dentist assessed the situation & unfortunately had to extract the tooth which he did quickly & efficiently. Even so, I will be looking elsewhere for dental implant options.
