Dr. Cheryl Kantor-Goldenberg is a cosmetic and restorative dentist in New York City . She is currently in her thirtieth year in private practice in mid-town Manhattan . Her highest goal and greatest pleasure is to deliver excellent and beautiful dental treatment to her patients using the latest techniques and finest materials.
Dr. Kantor-Goldenberg is a former Clinical Assistant Professor in the Operative Department at NYU College of Dentistry, from 1977-1997. For several years during that time, she was Clinic Chief in the pre-clinical floors. For most of her private practice,
Dr. Kantor-Goldenberg was in partnership with her identical twin, Dr. Barbi Kantor-Goldenberg, who is now retired from dentistry and pursuing a new career in the arts.
Cheryl is now practicing in a State-of-the-Art office. Dr. Kantor-Goldenberg places great emphasis on the latest technologies in her field, utilizing computers, digital computerized x-rays and lasers whenever possible for preparing teeth. To stay current in the latest advances in dentistry, Dr. Kantor-Goldenberg attends numerous lectures, hands-on workshops and continuing dental education courses. She has made many trips with her staff to various destinations in the United States and abroad for workshops and related seminars in order to better serve her patients.
Dr. Kantor-Goldenberg is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the New York County Dental Society , the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Association of Women Dentists and the National Society of Dental Practitioners. She has served on the Board of Directors of the First District Dental Society and as Membership Chairperson and on the Program Board. Currently, she is a member of the Peer-Review Committee, which serves the New York Community as a liaison between practitioners and patients.
