About Dr. Michelle (Chu qiao) Liang
Dr. Liang is a dedicated and detail-oriented dentist who emphasizes prevention and conservative treatment to help patients maintain lasting oral health. She is dual board-certified to practice dentistry in both Canada and the United States.
Originally from Montreal, Canada, she developed an early interest in healthcare and went on to study Kinesiology at McGill University. She later earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Montreal.
Throughout her studies, Dr. Liang was consistently recognized for academic excellence. She received the Faculty of Dentistry’s Academic Excellence Award, the Pierre Fauchard Academy Award of Excellence in Memory of Dr. Barry Dolman Fund, and was named to the Dean’s Honor List. As part of her training, she also completed a semester abroad at the Université catholique de Louvain in Brussels, where she gained hands-on experience in managing complex dental emergencies alongside experienced European practitioners.
After graduation, she pursued an intensive general practice residency at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, where she enhanced her skills in treating medically complex patients and managing oral and maxillofacial trauma.
She is currently a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the New York State Dental Association (NYSDA), and the Second District Dental Society (SDDS).
Dr. Liang approaches dentistry with a strong sense of responsibility and compassion. She is committed to providing individualized, thoughtful care and values clear, open communication with her patients. She is also fluent in English, French, and Mandarin.

1. The front desk will reschedule my time from evenings to mornings and change my appointment with another Doctor Who I don’t even know the name.
2. The doctor seemed friendly, but they’re just trying to upsell.
3. Doctors have no respect for patience privacy. When I did my root canal there was three other doctors standing they were watching without my consent.
4. The doctor was in a rush to get my root canal done. I didn’t even get a chance to rinse my mouth during the process. After that, I found out there was a small screw and some chips of my teeth in my mouth.
5. When I booked on Zocdoc, it said to be in network of Aetna, but actually it’s not.
6. The front desk was not professional. The POS machine was broken so she just took my debit card and input the details on herself, yes, she had my CVV, my card number and expiration day. Also, I don’t know what’s wrong with her attitude. She seems very impatient.
