I love Dr Calamia. She has a light hand while providing a thorough cleaning and a wonderful bedside manner. She takes the time to get to know you as a patient and really makes you feel like you're being taken care of rather than a quick cleaning and push out the door. The office is very pleasant and clean. I no longer work near her office but she's worth the extra trip!

Christine Calamia is a careful and precise dentist providing excellent care to her patients in New York City. Dr. Calamia is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Operative Dentistry, and the International Association for Dental Research. She was awarded the Quintessence Research Award for Excellence in Research and the Student Research Group Award for Excellence in Research while attending New York University, studying for her doctor of dental surgery degree. She then attended the Long Island College Hospital for her general practice residency. Dr. Calamia is fluent in both Spanish and English.

I’ve been going to Dr. Calamia for about 3 years now and she’s the best dentist I’ve ever had! She is super friendly & takes the time to answer all my questions and explain what’s going on with my teeth thoroughly. I feel very comfortable going to her for all my teeth issues. I also think very highly of the staff at this office in general. The receptionists are always patient & helpful and the dental hygienists who clean my teeth always do a quick job while also being careful not to hurt me. Would highly recommend booking your dental appointments with this office!

Went for regular cleaning and was greeted by extremely friendly staff members. Dr. Christine Calamia saw me after quick x-rays and made the experience a pleasant one with her positive attitude and warm personality. Overall, the visit was approx. 30 mins making it easy to duck out of work during my lunch break.

Dr. Calamia was very clear when explaining to me what was wrong with my teeth! I knew I needed to get some wisdom teeth removed and she was super helpful letting me know which ones needed to go & why. She was also patient and explained what I was looking at on my x-ray. I’ve also been to her office for 3 cleanings and although I received the usual scolding for not flossing/drinking too much soda (I know I know, I’m bad!!), I appreciate that she was direct & she wasn’t too harsh about it! ??

She’s so nice and funny! Made me feel super comfortable! She did my root canal and ALL of my experiences in the past from previous dentists were awful. I haven’t been to the dentist in 4 years until this year. I was super hesitant about getting another root canal because of the past but it was painless. Christine knows what she’s doing and cares about the quality of her work! Coming back to get another one done soon and I don’t feel anxious about it for the first time ever. So happy!
