All fears we had about our daughters first dentist appointment we’re immediately dissolved the moment we walked in to Central Park. The office is clean, modern and not overly childish. The front desk staff were nice and welcoming. Our wait time was non-existent and we were in and out in under 40 minutes. The tech was so nice and patient with our daughter and Dr. Johnson answered all of our questions, provided great care and gave our two-year-old 5 star treatment. I am so impressed with this place and have already recommended it to friends looking for a dentist for their children.

Dr. Johnson completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from West Virginia University. He continued his professional training with a general practice residency and two additional years of specialized training to earn his specialty in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Johnson loves being a pediatric dentist because most dental problems begin early, and quality oral health care during childhood is the key to giving kids a headstart on a lifetime of healthy smiles.
Dr. Johnson takes his commitment to continuing education very seriously, completing numerous courses and seminars each year in order to provide his patients with the most comfortable and advanced dental care possible. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Texas Dental Association, and the Capital Area Dental Society.
Dr. Johnson has been married for over nine years and has two beautiful daughters. As a family, the Johnsons love being outdoors and exploring all of the sights and sounds that Austin has to offer.

The waiting area is pleasant and I really liked the changing station in the bathroom. There are diapers for infants in the drawers below the orthopedic changing pad. Perfect for Mom's and Dad's with infants. My two negative experiences occurred at the front desk. Two employees were gossiping, and another front desk employee gave me and her own colleague attitude when I was trying to place a return appointment. Overall the experience was still great.

Let me start off with saying this staff is amazing! They have been able to accommodate and work with my hectic schedule. They are great to r/s and find a quick apt for me. Dr. Johnson has been very through explain my child's care. I even brought my sister. She has a horrible phobia/fear of the dentist due to an ugly experience when she was 5 with a different dentist. But she was calm and relaxed thru her first visit and the Second went even better. I'm glad I found this practice, especially being new to the Austin area!

My just-turned-two-year-old daughter had hear teeth cleaned with the electronic brushing device, lying calmly on the chair/bed/table, while watching the ceiling-mounted television. This is completely the opposite from most toddler tooth-brushing or toddler dentist experiences that I can imagine. Dr. Johnson and his hygienists are baby and toddler-whisperers, and we have had several wonderful experiences. They all listen very openly to parental questions and concerns and suggest conservative options whenever possible. They accept many insurance providers as well! The office space itself is welcoming and very-well decorated (I wish the waiting room was my living room, minus 10 chairs or so). We will continue with Dr. Johnson for as long as we're in Austin!

My children actually enjoy going to the dentist! Seriously! The office is fun & cheery & Dr. Johnson is very patient & fun with the children. I appreciate that he explains to children & I what is happening. He always makes sure they are comfortable. My children also appreciate the option to watch a show during care & look forward to the prize box afterwards. We have never had a dentist we appreciate more!

The staff is very polite. My kids actually look forward to going to the dentist. Dr. Johnson makes sure they feel comfortable with what he will be doing. We have never had a long wait after arriving for an appointment. Dr. Johnson and his staff are very approachable when it comes to asking questions. I would recommend them to anyone, especially with kids.

Wonderful visit from the time we walked in to the time we checked out. Everything you could ask for. More importantly, I work in dentistry so I could see on the xrays what was going on and his treatment plan was 200% honest. I look forward to returning with my children.
